i have a new project: i'm going to force myself to be ambidextrous, because lefties are cool, and if i can pass for a leftie, people will love me.

isaac's birthday is tomorrow, i guess. and so a bunch of us are taking him out for dinner on friday. this should be fun. apparently there's some sort of party afterwards. and then i said i'd go home this weekend, so i guess saturday and sunday will be spent at home. for some reason i was under the impression that passover is a christian holiday, which it is not. is there something that christians call passover at least? or am i just entirely making this up?

sat's quitting tech stuff for the icc, and he sort of suggested that i might do it, for summer anyway. i don't think i'm very qualified, but i've been thinking about it. it'd certainly force me to learn all this stuff that i've sort of idly wanted to figure out more about. it's a pretty cool sort of opportunity, because i really am terribly underqualified, so its not something that'd just come to me again. so i may do it, if they need someone, and i really am the best qualified person around. and if sat has a full understanding of how unqualified i am for the job, and therefor how much training/hand holding it would involve on his part. bascically the icc so the fuck needs to hire a sysadmin. they just do. that would be a big part of what i'd do, is lobby at them to hire someone, because its really stupid to just sit back and hope that they have someone who's capable and willing to donate that kind of time. anyway. that's something to consider.
